Overview

The IOMA Haircare project was a comprehensive endeavor to expand the Parisian brand’s expertise from skincare into haircare. Collaborating closely with the R&D and Marketing teams, I led the design of athehaircare line from start to finish. This included designing a new brand identity under the IOMA Paris umbrella, creating packaging that fits with the skincare brand, and producing a range of visual content—from product packshots to photos and videos. The project aimed to position IOMA Haircare as a premium, science-driven brand tailored to the needs of modern consumers. The Challenge

The challenge was to translate IOMA’s established reputation for innovation and personalization in skincare into the competitive haircare market. The new line needed to reflect the same level of expertise while standing out in a saturated market dominated by recognizable names. The existing IOMA Paris brand identity had to evolve to encompass haircare while maintaining its luxury appeal. Additionally, the launch required a cohesive storytelling approach and visually compelling content to attract both digital and retail audiences.

The Solution

The solution involved crafting a strong art direction that highlighted IOMA’s expertise and advanced technology while maintaining a glamorous and luxurious feel. The visual identity was designed to emphasize the brand’s scientific precision through sleek, modern packaging and clean, minimalist design elements. To ensure inclusivity and appeal across both European and Asian markets, we showcased a variety of hair types and textures in the visual assets. I oversaw the creation of a cohesive suite of content, including packshots, lifestyle imagery, and social media assets, tailored to resonate with a diverse audience. The focus was on blending sophistication with innovation, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to personalization and care.

The Result

The revamped brand identity and innovative digital design significantly enhanced Ridged’s market presence and customer engagement. The new website attracted more visitors and increased user interaction, leading to improved brand perception and loyalty. Ridged successfully established a strong, cohesive brand identity and an engaging digital platform, reinforcing their position as a leading innovator in the competitive beverage industry.
